Four lanes carry most of our out-of-state work: north to the Bay Area, north again to Seattle, out to Las Vegas, and east to Denver. Emilio Chacon runs all four on our own equipment, which means the trailer your sofa is loaded into in the morning is the trailer it comes back out of at the far end.

What running our own equipment gets you

  • No revised paperwork after the load, because we are not reselling your job to somebody downstream who prices it differently
  • The trailer is yours for the run, with nothing else stacked in around your things to make the miles pay
  • A delivery date named at booking, instead of a spread of days that leaves a family on an air mattress
  • The people who wrapped your bedroom set here are the same ones carrying it up the stairs in Denver or Seattle
  • If the two closings sit a month apart, your things wait in our warehouse rather than a rented unit in a city you have not moved to yet

Nothing gets interlined, nothing changes hands mid-route

Interlining is where most long-haul claims are born: one company loads you, a second one drives, and nobody owns the damage. We are a licensed and insured household-goods mover hauling our own freight, so there is one crew and one set of keys between your two addresses.

The sequence on an out-of-state job

  1. Inventory and price Isabela goes room by room, on video or in person, prices against the real inventory and the destination address, and only then does the lane get a truck.
  2. Loading downtown Same discipline as a local job, one room at a time, except everything is tied off to the trailer walls in tiers, because it has to survive the Grapevine.
  3. The drive Bay Area and Seattle both head north up the 5; Las Vegas goes out the 15 through Cajon Pass; Denver takes the 15 and cuts east through the high country.
  4. Set-down Emilio’s crew opens the trailer, so nobody is meeting your furniture cold, and anything broken down for the road is standing again in the spot you choose before they pull away.

Planning windows on each lane

Las Vegas loads one day and delivers the next. The Bay Area normally lands the day after load-out as well. Seattle and Denver both sit in the two-to-three-day band, longer when a pass is weathered in. Emilio names a date at booking rather than quoting you a range.

Paperwork reshapes these schedules far more often than weather does. A June-gloom morning has never held up a load-out, but a lease ending on the thirty-first against keys that will not be released in Seattle until the fifth certainly will, and covering that gap is exactly what the plan is for. Send our office a destination and the week you have to be out.

Questions people ask before booking this

If everything does not fit, does the rest follow on another truck to Las Vegas?

It does not. The shipment is sized at the walkthrough and equipment is assigned to match it, so one trailer and one crew cover the entire run through to the final carton coming off.

Can delivery be timed to the day our new lease starts in Seattle?

That is the normal way it is booked. Emilio Chacon works backward from your key date, and when the two ends refuse to meet, we hold the shipment here rather than leave it sitting loaded.

How far ahead should a Denver or Bay Area move be booked?

Three or four weeks is comfortable. Late spring through August is the busy stretch on every lane we run, so a summer date is worth locking in earlier than that.
