Requesting an estimate, submitting a form on this site, or putting a date on our calendar brings these terms into force. They run alongside the written quote we hand you and never override the figures on it.
How the four kinds of work are priced

Your shipment stays on our trucks
Global Movers is a licensed and insured California household-goods mover with current interstate authority. The crew that loads you is on our payroll, and the job is never handed to an outside trucking company partway through.
If something changes after the date is booked

Damage and claims
Basic released-value protection applies to every shipment automatically and is calculated on the weight of the damaged item, which makes it limited coverage, not replacement cost. Full-value protection is available at a small percentage of the value you declare, and it must be arranged in writing before loading begins. Cargo insurance stands behind both levels.
Claims have to reach us in writing within nine months of delivery, and we answer once the item or your photos have been inspected. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute is heard in the state or federal courts sitting in Los Angeles County.
