Damage almost always happens inside the carton, before a truck is anywhere near the house. Plates stacked flat, a framed print slid in beside a row of books, a mirror rolled up in a blanket: those three account for most of what ever comes back as a claim. Our packers carry mirror cartons, dish barrels and crate stock precisely because all three are avoidable.
Where our packers can take the job
- A whole-house pack, or a partial that stops wherever you want it to, most often the kitchen, the garage and the closets
- Framed work rides in mirror cartons with corner protection, while canvases, glass tops and stone get crates cut to size on the job
- Stemware and china pack into dish barrels on cell dividers, and books and vinyl go into double-wall cartons that will not blow out at the seam
- Wardrobe cartons come off the truck empty so a closet crosses town on its hangers and gets rehung the same afternoon
- Uprights and baby grands, wine, boards, wall-mounted televisions and gym equipment each get a method of their own rather than a bigger box
- Say the word and we come back for the unpack, opening cartons where they belong and taking the cardboard away with us
Scope drives this price more than anything else does
Limiting us to breakables costs a fraction of a whole-house pack, and plenty of households do exactly that, boxing their own linens and clothes and handing over the kitchen and the artwork. Anything awkward, a wall of gallery-framed work, a safe that needs a rated dolly, a driveway that keeps the truck well back from the door, is in the quote before you sign it.
The order a pack gets done in
- The truck arrives stocked Carton sizes, paper, tape and crate stock are pulled against your inventory before the crew leaves the yard, so nobody disappears mid-job to buy supplies.
- Room by room, closed as they go A room is packed, labeled and finished before the next door opens, which is also what keeps the labels honest.
- Breakables run on a separate track Glass, art, electronics and instruments are cushioned and staged away from the general cartons so they never end up at the bottom of a stack.
- Staging happens the night before the load Cartons are grouped by room near the exit, which turns load morning into carrying rather than sorting.

Cash, jewelry, prescriptions, passports and anything flammable or under pressure stay with you in your own car, since none of that rides our truck however well it is packed. Packing books more cheaply alongside a move inside the county or a long-haul lane, so give the office one date that covers both.
