Escrow moves a week. An inspection fails over something small. The lease you signed begins on the first and the one you are leaving ended on the twenty-eighth. Any of those leaves a family with a full truck and nowhere to put it, which is the whole reason we run a warehouse of our own instead of pointing customers at a self-storage counter.
How our storage works
- There is no minimum term. A nine-day gap and a seven-month hold are equally fine, and ending early costs you nothing
- Your household goes into wooden vaults on pallets, closed and banded, rather than piled loose in a shared bay
- Everything is photographed and numbered on the way in and you keep the inventory list, so what comes back out is checkable against what went in
- Access stops at our own W-2 staff. No public gate code, no counter where anyone can walk in and ask after a unit
- It books as a job of its own or rides along with a move already on our calendar
One company holds the entire chain
Your things are never handed to a third-party warehouse, so the people who wrapped the dining table in June are usually the ones setting it back down in September. That continuity is what makes an inventory list worth anything when a build-out drags months past what the contractor promised.
In, held, and back out again
- Loading out Each piece is wrapped at the old address, photographed and given its inventory number before it goes up the ramp.
- The holding period Vaults sit off the slab in a clean, alarmed, climate-controlled building that stays dry through a marine-layer spring and steady when the inland valleys hit triple digits.
- Your go date Keys released, final walkthrough done, permit signed off: call the office with a date and the delivery run goes on the board.
- Coming back The crew unloads to your directions room by room and rebuilds whatever had to come apart, the same as any other delivery.
How storage gets quoted
Billing runs monthly and follows how many vaults your household actually fills, which the walkthrough establishes before anything is picked up. It shows as its own line beside the moving figure so the two halves stay legible, and a short gap is priced on the same basis as a long hold.
